Meet the voices of Airwaves Entertainment
Tony Scott began his radio career at AFN, initially on the island of Taiwan where he attended high school and hosted the weekly radio program for Taipei American High School. Upon graduation at TAS, Tony stayed on at AFNT working on-air until a move back to the states where he joined the staff at WPGC in Washington, DC.
From WPGC it was on to many a respected station in the U.S. including WIFI/Philadelphia and KIMN & KPKE in Denver where he began television and voiceover work in earnest. In the late 80s, Tony read for NBC when they made a casting call in Denver and won a role on the NBC daytime drama "Santa Barbara", which led to a move to Los Angeles and eventually a move back into radio and voiceover along with occasional television work.
During his 20 years in Los Angeles, Tony has worked on-air for some of the most respected radio stations and networks in the biz including KIIS-FM, K-EARTH 101, Westwood One, longtime host of "The 7th Day", and still remains at Southern California powerhouse 95.5 KLOS as part of a legendary on-air lineup.
Tony has also hosted the afternoon program for Dial-Global's "Adult Rock & Roll" format for many years and can be heard from time to time as guest host on "Rockline", the popular nationally syndicated interview program hosted by radio legend Bob Coburn.
If you're a fan of Discovery Channel, the History Channel, HGTV, TLC, TBS or many other networks chances are you've either heard or seen Tony as he has been active in voiceover, narration, and hosting.
